Dr. Dongsheng Lei received his Ph.D. degree in June 2014 from Xi’an Jiaotong University. He performed postdoctoral research at The Molecular Foundry, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from 2014 to 2019, and joined the school of Physical Science and Technology, Electron Microscopy Center at Lanzhou University as a professor in 2019. He is a standing director of Electron Microscope Society of Northwestern China. He is interested in developing cryo-electron tomography technique, and combining the technique with molecular dynamics simulation to study the structure and function of macrobiomolecule. He has published 16 SCI papers, including Nature Communications, Nature Chemical Biology, Journal of Biological Chemistry. Dr. Dongsheng’s work has been highlighted and re-reported by a number of academic websites including PhysOrg.com, Nanotechnology Now, and Science Daily.
